Blue Ridge
Temp 58
Level -16′
Clarity 12ft
Blue Ridge has been fishing great. The walleye are settled in to the fall locations and packing on the pounds . 45 to 75ft seems to be the sweet spot currently for the larger fish.  Look for the depths i mentioned where bait is holding after sun up. The bait will move down and the fish will feed for about an hour . Its a short window at sunrise.  You need to be on fish when they start to feed. Spoons , jigs , minnows, or live blue backs all have a time and place this month for walleye. Vary your presentation speed till you find what’s working that day.  After sunrise it’s a spot fest . If you target them it’s double digits everyday . Same baits just a bit shallower . We are catching some nice footballs in 25 to 35ft of water around the clock . Morning  ,noon , and after sunset . There’s a good top water bite if you can throw it a mile . Loons are on the main lake working bait balls and the bass get fired up when they start to feed. Find the birds,  find the fish.
